The Problem
Scams, Fraud, and Elder Abuse have been issues rapidly increasing in severity since 2020. However, the legal system has a far too lenient hand when it comes to justice and these crime. Criminals commit these crimes, families lose everything and never get their money back. It's financially "worth it" in a criminals eye to take the sentence for the amount of money they just made from these Fraudulent and Scamming acts.
The Solution
We as a nation need to be heard. Stricter prosecutions need to be put in place to deter these crimes. Therefore not allowing crime to "pay". The sentences and punishment after the fact needs to be strong enough to encourage rehabilitation rather than continuing with crime. As well as a deterrent from the crime altogether.
